METHOD
- 01Place garlic, chickpeas, and 1 tablespoon of water in a blender. Blend for one minute.
- 02Add tahini and blend for an additional minute, scraping down the sides after approximately 30-60 seconds to ensure everything is incorporated.
- 03Slowly pour in the pressed lemon juice while the blender is running, then gradually add enough water until you achieve your desired loose, creamy consistency.
- 04Season generously with sea salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper to taste, and blend one final time to incorporate the seasonings fully.
- 05Pour the hummus into a serving bowl and garnish with a generous sprinkle of fresh chopped coriander or parsley before serving.
